How to Make A Boilermaker

As we're sure you're aware, the Boilermakers are big supporters of education. And perhaps the most important part of learnin' is gettin' the know-how to make good cocktails with whiskey. And that's right in our wheelhouse, so we're all over it. Here in our first course, recorded on Christmas Eve as part of Uncle Frank's webcast (about 3 hours in, after he'd been drinking a bit), Uncle demonstrates how to make (and enjoy) our namesake cocktail: The Boilermaker

Vanilla Bourbon Ice Cream

Call this the "Friends and Family Edition," but in this video, Brother Scott's sister shows part of how she makes Vanilla Bourbon Ice Cream with Cask-Strength Maker's Mark bourbon. Don't look for this in the Ben and Jerry's section of the store, this is a flavor all its own. The complete recipe will be posted here soon, but we've been advised it contains 14 egg yolks, heavy cream, AND Half & Half. Don't sample this if you're having your cholesterol checked anytime soon.
